I'll be on my own in Japan for 2 weeks from the 26th May. Found a couch surfing host who was really sweet, but he cancelled the dates after I mentioned a boyfriend. If there are some good er people in Japan, I would love to meet you so you could show me around and give me some tips, as I'm starting to slightly freak out with the realisation that I'll be all alone. If youre going to be in Tokyo: Ueno is a good place. Cheap stay, with lots of street food and night markets. If you dont know how their trains work, its all about the beginning and end — midway stops wont be called or placed. Its quite hard to explain it here but I suggest studying the train station online as it is one of the cheapest public transport. If you’re still confused, dont worry there are guides within the train station who’ll immediately help you when you’re lost
